On the Vulture Peak Trail
I snapped this shot during a February 2009 hike up Vulture Peak near Wickenburg, AZ. It had rained the night before and earlier that morning and the clouds were speeding by in the sky, letting out occasional rays of the sun. This is the west side of the main peak, shot from the trail. The splash of red are from penstemons, a wildflower that was in bloom at the time.
