Ancient Lake

Ancient Lake is one of the Quincy Lakes carved out by the Missoula Floods 15,000 years ago. Fed by irrigation runoff, the lake features waterfalls and basalt rock cliffs. This photo was taken from about 600 feet over the lake on Memorial Day Weekend 2010.
