I made this photo of the Crescent Bar area of the Columbia River in Central Washington State late one afternoon, about 45 minutes before sunset. The town of Quincy and its farmland and orchards are on the cliffs you see here. One of the cherry orchards I'm responsible for drying appear in the far left side of the image, about halfway down. This photo was shot on June 14, 2009.
